WENDY CHAN/ Lead Trainer & Program Director

Wendy’s background and interest in eastern and western philosophy led her to explore and study the workings of the mind, body and subtle energies of the universe. This led her to realise her true calling: to teach and share yoga and meditation. With diverse trainings in yoga and meditation in different traditions, Wendy seeks a balanced and complete view of one’s practice and spiritual development.

Founder and director of Yoga Seeds, Wendy leads the teaching team at Yoga Seeds Shala and the faculty of Yoga Seeds Teacher Training Program. She curates and designs yoga curriculum, program and activities for Yoga Seeds classes, retreats, trainings and workshops in locations all over Asia to spread the seeds of yoga to the corporates as well as the public.

As an ambassador for Yoga Gives Back, she organises regular fundraisers and classes for charity and is deeply committed to giving back to the community. In fact, she teaches anywhere that she can unroll her mat! Her style of yoga is a unique blend of Classical, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, with emphasis on the breath in both movement and stillness.

BRYAN NG/ Anatomy Trainer

Bryan is an Osteopathic physician who currently runs his own private practice, The PainFree Clinic, at the Novena Medical Center. (

On top of his vast experience in the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal pain and injuries, he is also a certified yoga instructor after having gone through rigorous yoga teacher trainings with several highly respected yoga and meditation teachers, who strongly inspired him on his yoga journey.

His passion to delve into the study of osteopathic medicine, after completing his first two yoga teacher training programs, was in fact propelled by his desire to cultivate mental steadiness in his students through the integration of healthy body alignment and breath awareness.

With his practical understanding of the human anatomy and movement, combined with his nurturing love for yoga, he hopes to ride on this lifetime interest to help people integrate their body and mind.

VARI MORALES/ Art of Adjustments Trainer

Vari was born in New York and grew up in the Bronx. Both of his parents immigrated from Puerto Rico and he learned at an early age that life was not easy. In his early 20’s, Vari felt something was seriously lacking in his life. With his mother’s encouragement, Vari seek for spirituality guidance and in so discovered yoga. Inspired to further his progress in spirituality, Vari embarked on a yoga journey volunteering his time and energy at an Ashram at Cre Paulo in Boston. Most of his current teaching style came from his time spent there. From Cre Paulo, Vari traveled to India for two years to continue his development in yoga practice and teaching from the original lineage. Vari’s teaching philosophy rooted in the belief of staying connected with the breath regardless of the yoga style one is practicing. As life is breath, nothing is possible without it. For nearly a decade now, Vari has been a dedicated yoga teacher sharing his passion and inspiring others on a daily basis. Currently living in Chiang Mai Thailand, every day he is thankful for his students and the ability to continue along this wonderful journey. Vari is known for his charisma and his classes are truly a transformational experience.


What are the pre-requisites for this course?

There are no pre-requisites for this course. All levels are welcome to join. However, we expect a reasonable command of the English language as the training will be conducted in English.

I do not have much yoga experience, in fact, I’m more of a beginner, can I join this course?

All levels are welcome to join the course. For beginners, you will pick up the foundations in the first module before we go deeper into the anatomy, philosophy and teaching modules. Be prepared to work hard and see improvement and transformation in your practice!

What certification do I get upon completion of the course?

Upon completion of the course, you will receive an internationally recognised Yoga Seeds 200hr Teacher Training approved by Yoga Alliance (US).

What type of yoga does this training cover?

The course is based on traditional Hatha yoga postures and practice, but we also touch on other aspects of practice in other styles like Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative. Trainees will gain exposure to various yogic traditions, yoga philosophy and yoga therapy.

How is Yoga Seeds teacher training course different from others?

Yoga Seeds 200hr Teacher Training is structured in a modular format, with clear focus on specific topics for each module. Our trainers for each module is specialised and experienced in that topic and the training programme is in-depth and progressive. We maintain high standards for our curriculum and course content. Our schedule is planned to cater to those who can only commit to weekends for training. In this way, one does not have to take extended leave from work or family commitments in order to complete a 200hr teacher training certification course. We also welcome graduates to join us for trainings and lectures in a modular format as a form of continuing education (CET) for yoga teachers.

What does the future hold for me after I complete the course?

Upon graduation, you will be certified and ready to teach and share yoga with the people in your community! You can explore teaching yoga as a career or a form of community service. You are welcome to join the Yoga Seeds team as a freelancer, retreat assistant/leader, or instructor for our many yoga programs for the public. Even if you do not intend to make yoga teaching your career, you will find that you have the essential knowledge and skills to deepen your self-practice and study of yoga. You are also eligible to go for further 300hr teacher trainings and advanced yoga teacher training.
