Formerly a Biology teacher with a passion for dance, Joanne has always been fascinated by the intricate mechanisms of the human body. Her curiosity and love for movement led her to discover the transformative practice of yoga in 2011. Captivated by its holistic nature, she embraced the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga and saw significant improvements in her overall well-being through dedicated and consistent practice.

With her background in education, enriched by her own experience in the practice, Joanne became resolute in her mission to share the benefits of yoga with others. She endeavours to cater to unique and diverse needs, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment in her classes.

Having a Vata personality, Joanne loves travelling, exploring, and seeking new adventures. She enjoys hiking, especially to the summits of mountains - they challenge her mentally and physically, and though the process may seem almost impossible at times (if she's being honest, all the time), the sense of achievement when she reaches the top is unmatched. Coupled with the reminder of how big the world is in relation to her, that rush continues to give her the motivation and determination to push through every hike, every obstacle, one step at a time.
