FAQ

  • This course is for anyone who wants to embark on their yoga teaching journey to share the benefits of yoga. A passion for yoga and personal growth is essential. Beginners are welcome, but we recommend 3-6 months of regular practice. Proficiency in English is required.

  • Upon completion of the assignments, assessments and practical exam, trainees will be presented with a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance (US) Accredited Certification.

Trainees may choose to register for RYT200 Accreditation with Yoga Alliance (US), and this certification equips you to begin teaching yoga!

  • The 200-Hour Yoga Seeds Teacher Training curriculum comprises a comprehensive education in yoga asana techniques, teaching methodology, anatomy & physiology, yoga philosophy, as well as hands-on teaching practice.

Your study during this training will comprise both in-person sessions as well as online sessions and weekday self-learning. It offers trainees the flexibility to balance a part-time training with their full-time commitments.

  • You are more than welcome to join the training even if you do not have the intention to teach yoga in the near future. The training is a deeper study of yoga beyond asana, and will be beneficial for practitioners hoping to deepen their practice.

However, do take note that the training has a practice teaching component and this is also assessed in your final practical exam.

  • You are highly encouraged to be present for all in-person shala training sessions. If you are aware of the dates affected in advance, do share them with us so that we may better advise you. If you are planning to be away for an entire weekend or multiple lectures and practice sessions, we would suggest you join a different intake (we run 3 intakes a year).

We do understand that life gets in the way, and if you happen to fall sick during training, our teacher trainers will do their best to offer a make-up session or online recording to catch you up.

  • For other enquiries, please email recharge@yogaseeds.com.sg or WhatsApp (65) 8322 1251.

You are also welcome to join Wendy for a Yoga & Tea: YTT Sharing Session to meet her in person to find out more about our curriculum, or to ask her any other questions you may have.
