If teaching is not for you this season, step into this 30hr Introductory course to explore the foundations of Yoga. This course is for anyone who is curious about yoga and wants to deepen their practice both on and off the mat. Some of the topics covered in the curriculum include the origins and history of yoga, paths of yoga, the 7 chakras, pranayama (breathwork) and asanas (physical postures).
Experience a 2-hour extended practice including pranayama, asana and meditation, as well as lectures, discussion with like-minded yogis, and sharing. You will also learn a detailed breakdown of the three sun salutations while exploring the alignment for various foundational poses that works for your unique body.

Introduction to Yoga & its traditional definitions
Origins & History of Yoga, significant time periods & lineages
Paths of Yoga: Approaches for attaining clarity of mind through Yoga
Exploring the subtle body: Koshas, Gunas, Chakras
Introduction to Pranayama (Breathwork) techniques
Asana Clinic: Customized mat-marking, interactive analysis of 25 fundamental postures, including the Classical and Ashtanga Vinyasa Sun Salutations.
The course includes 2 hour extended practices including asana, pranayama & meditation.
This course is the introductory module to our full 200hr Yoga Teacher Training program. Upon completing this course, you’ll have the option to continue your journey and discover the joy of teaching by topping up at a special rate to access the full 200hr program.
