Komorebi refers to the warm and dancing stream of sunlight that filters in through the forest canopy. Through layering techniques using watercolours, colour pencils and marker (mix media), we will explore bringing a forest bathing scene to life.
We’ll begin with an introduction to simple watercolour techniques, focusing on the wet-on-wet method, where pigments blend and flow freely. We may then create a larger piece, incorporating free-flowing brushstrokes to allow colours to merge naturally.

Integrating Sound & Yoga: 15hr Immersion with Meiyan Cheong
Explore the introspective effects of sound and how it can be integrated with yoga. This course will provide an overview of the various forms of sound including musical instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, steel drums, chimes and the traditional harmonium as well as Om chanting, musical playlists and mantras, and how to weave these elements into your yoga practice. Led by Meiyan Cheong, this immersion is open to all who resonate with a sound-centric yoga practice and are keen on understanding the basics of sound and yoga. A 30hr comprehensive module (CET eligible) is also open to Yoga Teachers.

Trauma Informed Yoga Immersive with Krisa Qiu & Kristen Pringle

Cultivating Compassion Through Trauma Informed Yoga: 20hr CET with Krisa Qiu & Kristen Pringle

This 2-day intensive training with online support, led by Krisa Qiu (Bliss Shala Yoga) and Kristen Pringle (Trauma Informed Care OT) is designed for therapists, yoga teachers, coaches, wellness facilitators, OT’s and health professionals, or mind-body enthusiasts seeking to integrate compassion and trauma-informed yoga (TIY) into their personal or professional life. This training qualifies for CPD and Yoga Alliance CET hours.
We will be integrating compassion & trauma theory, experiential learning & self-exploration, and building your practical skills toolkit to embed immediately for personal, therapeutic, individual or group client use. Together we will explore how to apply and incorporate key trauma-informed practices from evidence-based yoga, mindfulness, breathing & compassion programs, including TCTSY, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, MSC, & more.

Nada Flow & Meditation with Meiyan Cheong

Nada in Sanskrit refers to sound, tone or vibration. The intention of this class is to explore both dynamic and intuitive movement through the guidance of external sound from music or mantras, woven together into a dance of mindful movement. Join Meiyan in this extended 90-minute practice as you allow movement, music and your breath to guide you into a space of stillness as we close practice with sound meditation.

Join Wendy & Meiyan for a candlelit immersive meditation experience starting wtih Trataka, a cleansing practice for the eyes and mind. Trataka is a meditation technique that involves gazing at a single object, such as a candle flame, to calm the mind and body.
In your meditative state, we continue to tune inwards by surrendering to the sound vibrations of tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, swinging chimes and more. This practice closes with a 45-minute Sound Bath, which you may choose to practice seated or in savasana.

Join Meiyan as she guides you through 108 cycles of the Gayatri Mantra while you move to its sound vibrations. In ancient traditions, Gayatri mantra is chanted in devotion to the nourishing sun that connects us all, and also represents new beginnings and new opportunities.

Closing the Year with Gratitude: New Year’s Eve Sound Bath Meditation with Meiyan Cheong
This New Year’s Eve, let us take the time to rest, reflect and set new intentions with gratitude. In this 90min session, treat yourself to a 75min immersive Sound Bath that you can choose to enjoy in Savasana or seated, followed by pranayama and meditation to close the practice.
With the use of musical intervals, mindful combinations across different instruments, and her warm and soothing vocals, join Meiyan in exploration of the beautiful and introspective effects of sound. She invites you to take this moment to pause, find stillness, and listen.

Mindfulness Circle: Yin & Year End Reflections with Kimberly Kwa
As the year comes to a close, let us prepare for a more inward and contemplative practice. In this 2.5-hour mindfulness circle, allow Kim to hold space for you as you explore mindfulness techniques to prepare for an intentional new beginning in the coming year. Kim will guide you through various calming, grounding and reflective practices that could be helpful in shaping a daily routine for yourself in the New Year ahead.
This practice combines Pranayama, Yin, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. There will be time and space for journalling and sharing.
